Crook steal cigarettes, money from Springs convenience store

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - A robber held up a Colorado Springs 7-Eleven for cash and cigarettes Sunday night.

Police say the man barged in carrying a gun just before 7:30 and ordered the cashier to give him both items. After getting what he wanted, he left. The clerk was unharmed.

The suspect has been described as a thin, 5-foot-2 white man wearing a tan and blue jacket with a hood, dark pants and a dark beanie. His face was hidden behind a green camo bandana.

The 7-Eleven is located in the 1400 block of North Academy Boulevard. The suspect was last seen running south clutching his stolen cigarettes and cash.
