Crash closes I-25 northbound south of Castle Rock, all lanes back open

DOUGLAS COUNTY, Colo. (KKTV) - A crash forced the closure of northbound I-25 on Tuesday on the south side of Castle Rock.

At about 3:38 p.m. the Colorado Department of Transportation tweeted out I-25 was closed at Tomah Road for a crash just north of Tomah. That part of I-25 is on the south side of Castle Rock. It is also part of the GAP expansion project.

"Expect long delays," CDOT tweeted.

At about 4:30 p.m. at least one lane was back open. As of 5 p.m. all lanes were back open.

According to Trooper Josh Lewis with the Colorado State Patrol, it appeared there were no serious injuries early into the investigation.
