The El Paso County Sheriff's Office announced the arrest of a man for felony theft relating to contractor fraud on Thursday.

Nathaniel Hardage is the owner of Aspen Peaks Roofing & Contractors LLC.

The most recent arrest marks the third time the sheriff's office has arrested Hardage in 2019 regarding this type of criminal activity.

According to the sheriff's office, in the most recent case, Hardage is accused of stealing $21,500 from someone in Cascade. The victim was reportedly pressured to pay for everything up front because Hardage promised a quick completion of the project. After only a partial tear-off of the old roof, the project was never completed. The victim was not able to get Aspen Peaks Roofing to return.

Hardage was being held in the El Paso County Jail on a $10,000 bond.
