Colorado Springs police arrest man for burglary and identity theft


COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - Colorado Springs police said officers arrested a man Thursday, and now he’s facing charges for burglary and identity theft.

Officers said they arrested 38-year-old Kevin Hardin after a months-long investigation into a burglary.

On May 3, police said they were dispatched to an office complex in the 7600 block of Goddard Street for a burglary at a business. Officers said Hardin stole several identity documents during the burglary. One person reported being a victim of identity theft, according to police.

Officers said they executed a search warrant at a home on Thursday and arrested Hardin. Police said they found items from the May burglary while they were searching the home.

Police said they arrested Hardin. Their investigation is ongoing.
