Colorado Springs Subway robbed at gunpoint

A criminal got away with cash Thursday night when he robbed a restaurant at gunpoint.
Colorado Springs police are reporting the crime happened at 1431 N. Academy Blvd., a Subway sandwich shop. A man entered the store, with a handgun and demanded money from an employee. He then took off before police arrived.
The suspect is described as a thin, 6-foot-tall black man in his 20s, sporting a goatee and wearing a gray sweatshirt, blue jeans and orange beanie.
A K-9 unit was called to the scene, but the man was not found. There were no injuries reported in the robbery.
