ID released of man found dead in creekbed in southwest Colorado Springs


COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - The death of a man found lifeless in a creekbed last week is now being investigated as a homicide.

Nov. 2, police officers were called just after 8:30 to the 100 block of Metzler Place in the Springs' southwest side on reports of a body lying by Cheyenne Creek. Springs firefighters also responded and confirmed the person was deceased.

Police have not said why they believe the death is a homicide and have not released anything on possible suspects.

Wednesday, they identified the victim as 34-year-old Luis "Lucky" Molina, a resident of Colorado Springs.
