Colorado man arrested in New Mexico with Uber driver's car

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) - A man accused of attempting to kidnap his Uber driver was captured and is being held in New Mexico. Albuquerque's KOB-TV reported Sunday, that Adam Salaz (23) was arrested by local deputies in Carlsbad over the weekend.
According to police, Salaz ordered an Uber near Grand Junction on Saturday. When the driver arrived, Salaz allegedly flashed a gun and ordered her to drive him to the desert. Officials say the driver was able to escape by jumping out of the car as it was moving, sustaining only minor injuries.
Salaz is now facing kidnapping charges.
