Colorado State Patrol was investigating a deadly crash involving a child Friday night.
Troopers say a 2002 Ford Explorer was traveling south on the road when it ran off the left side of the roadway and rolled onto its passenger side.
They add that an unrestrained child was ejected and pinned under the vehicle. Two other children and one adult were transported for medical attention.
State Patrol says that the 6-year-old boy who was ejected was pronounced dead on the scene.
The other passengers, a 26-year-old woman, a 5-year-old boy and a 2-year-old boy sustained minor injuries.
Police add that the driver of the Ford Explorer was 26-year-old Xavier Serros Carrasco. He was not injured.
Alcohol and drugs are suspected factors in this crash, Colorado State Patrol said in a statement released Friday morning. They added that charges are pending further investigation for Carrasco.
