Police search Springs neighborhood for homicide suspect

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - On Saturday morning, the Colorado Springs Police Department was asking residents just south of Dublin and Tutt Boulevard to remain indoors with the doors and windows locked.

Officers were serving a warrant in the 6200 block of Riverdale Drive. They were asking people to avoid the area.

11 News confirmed that the suspect had a felony warrant out for his arrest.

Police cleared the area at 1:45 p.m. The suspect was not found.

Police later confirmed they were looking for Edwin Figueroa, the suspect in a deadly shooting outside a Springs club early Saturday morning.
