CO sees 5th week in a row of declines in regular unemployment claims

DENVER, Colo. - The Colorado Department of Labor and Employment said last week was the fifth week in a row of gradual declines in initial unemployment claims.

For the week ending May 16th, there were 17,825 initial unemployment claims filed in Colorado. This is almost 5,000 less than the week prior.

Those in the restaurant and accommodation industry are still filing the most claims.
