Denver and Adams County law enforcement are investigating after a body was uncovered at a waste and recycling center.
The Denver Police Department tweeted about the discovery late Saturday morning:
Investigators tell sister station KCNC that the body was picked up in a trash truck and then brought to the facility. Law enforcement are now looking into the truck's route. It's not clear how long the body was at the facility before it was found.
The waste facility is located west of I-25 just north of Denver proper.
