PUEBLO, Colo. (KKTV) - A man was cited for property damage Saturday morning after walking up to a random house and smashing in a window with his head.

Just before 3:30 a.m., Pueblo police said they received a call from a homeowner who woke up to the sound of breaking glass.

When they got the house on W. 21st Street., officers found "a pane of glass in the front door broken, blood on the ground, and a cigarette butt on the porch."

Police followed the trail of blood to a home on N. Elizabeth Street. They found a man in a backyard, who appeared to be very intoxicated and "bleeding heavily from a gash on the side of his head."

After investigating, officers believe that some sort of argument happened between the man and his girlfriend. He reportedly took off walking, went up to someone's porch, and shattered a window with his head.

Police said they man was "too intoxicated" to explain how this all this all happened. He was transported to a local hospital by ambulance to be treated for his injuries.
