EL PASO COUNTY, Colo. (KKTV) - A tornado touched down in El Paso County on Thursday at about 4:30 p.m. in the Black Forest area. You can watch the earlier coverage from Chief Meteorologist Brian Bledsoe at the bottom of this article.
A flash flood warning was in place until 8 p.m.
The El Paso County Sheriff's Office was not aware of any major damage last time 11 News checked in with officials. The National Weather Service confirmed the tornado was an EF-0 with an estimated peak wind of 70 miles per hour. It was on the ground for about seven minutes from 4:29 p.m. to 4:36 p.m. in the Black Forest area.
