A suspected crook was caught with note demanding money from a drawer still stashed inside his car.

According to court papers obtained by 11 News, police found the note in Christopher Lee Barry's car when they pulled him over last week. The note read,

"All money in drawer, have pistol, stay calm."

Barry, 32, was pulled over Friday while driving a vehicle Springs police believed was tied to seven recent robberies in the area. Barry also matched surveillance photos associated with a Wells Fargo Bank robbery on Thursday.

Investigators say Barry denied involvement in any of the robberies, but police had enough evidence to arrest him. He has been charged with aggravated robbery in the following seven cases:

April 17, 2017 – Walgreens, 6075 Barnes Road

April 18, 2017 – Walgreens, 625 North 19th Street

April 19, 2017 – Walgreens, 4470 Royal Pine Drive

April 23, 2017 – IHOP, 5749 Stetson Hills Boulevard

April 24, 2017 – Chase Bank, 3570 Bloomington Street

May 3, 2017 – Wells Fargo Bank, 9649 Prominent Point

May 4, 2017 – Integrity Bank, 13475 Voyager Parkway

On Monday, Barry was out of jail. 11 News tried to contact Barry, but no one came to the door at his house.

In 2003 Barry pleaded guilty to robbery and was sentenced to five years in prison.
