Missing cousins return home and are safe, says Aurora Police Department

AURORA, Colo. (KKTV) - UPDATE: The Aurora Police Department announced late Monday morning that all of the girls have returned home. They thanked the public for sharing the photos and information.


PREVIOUS (10/14): Aurora police are asking the public for help finding three young cousins who ran away Sunday.

The youngest of the three is only 6 years old. They have not been seen since 7:30 Sunday night. According to police, the girls ran away after the oldest cousin had a family dispute.

Leanne, 13, is described as 5-foot-7 and 213 pounds and has brown hair and green eyes. Police say she was last seen wearing a white hoodie, black pants and pink sandals.

Ashlyn, 9, is 4-foot-5 and 100 pounds, has brown hair with green streaks and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a blue shirt and blue spandex pants with pink sandals.

Serenity, 6, is 3-foot-8 and 60 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes and was last seen wearing a blue shirt, blue spandex pants and pink sandals.

Police say all of the girls wear the hair shoulder-length, though Leanne often pulls hers up into a bun.

Anyone with information on their whereabouts is asked to call 911 immediately.
