U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. (KKTV) - Four sets of twins, 76 second-generation, and more than 300 minority students are among the nearly 1,000 who made the transformation from cadet to military officer Thursday.

The Air Force Academy class of 2019 capped off four years of rigorous study and training in a graduation ceremony at Falcon Stadium at 10:30 a.m. President Donald Trump gave a speech. Watch the ceremony below:

989: Graduates, making it the largest class in years

6,000: After the female cadets walked the stage Thursday, the overall number of women to graduate since 1980 (the first class allowed to have female cadets) will surpass 6,000
