Air Force Academy Cadet convicted for cocaine use

U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo (KKTV) - A United States Air Force Academy Cadet was sentenced to one month confinement and forfeiture of all pay and allowances for drug use.

The Academy announced the conviction of Cadet 2nd Class Daven D. Horne on Monday. He was found guilty of wrongful use of cocaine according to the Academy. The guilty decision came and the end of a general court martial last Thursday.

A decision regarding disenrollment from the Academy and discharge from the military and recoupment is expected to be made in the future. He was convicted by a court-martial panel of five officers and found not guilty of wrongful use of marijuana.
