AMBER Alert canceled, child found safe

DENVER (KKTV) - UPDATE, 10 p.m.: Authorities reported the child was found safe Thursday night.

Thornton police stated the 2-year-old girl was found in Saline County, Nebraska. The mother is also in custody.

PREVIOUS: An AMBER Alert was issued in Colorado Thursday night at about 7:20 p.m.

Authorities want the public to be on the lookout for a 2012 black Pathfinder with Colorado license plate 204-NKQ. Call 911 if seen. Authorities are hoping the public can help them find 2-year-old Kyley Allison Phipps. She was last seen wearing pigtails and is described as a white girl. She may be with 47-year-old Donetta Merle Phipps who is described as a white woman, about 5'5", about 152 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.

The two were last seen at about noon in the area of 136th Avenue and Holly Street in Thornton. At about 1 p.m. Donetta was told to relinquish Kyley and she failed to show. Authorities believe Kyley is in danger.
