Amber Alert canceled after missing Aurora child is found safe
A missing child has been found safe, three days after an Amber Alert was issued.
The Aurora Police Department announced early Tuesday morning that 12-year-old Liam Sweezey had been located. Liam was thought to be with his mother Nikki Sweezey, who had picked him up on June 26 and had not been since. The police department did not say if Nikki Sweezey, 31, had been located.
Earlier Monday, the pair had been spotted in Barstow, California. Police did not say where Liam was eventually found.
