9-month old Colorado boy believed to be in danger found safe

RANGELY, Colo. (KKTV) - A statewide alert went out for a 9-month old boy on Friday out of Rangely Colorado.

The Colorado Bureau of Investigation reported just before 5 p.m. Dustin Young was located and is safe.

According to authorities Michael Young took his 9-month-old son, Dustin Young, from their home in Rangely early Friday morning. Authorities were concerned Dustin may have been in danger. Rangely is in Rio Blanco County in the northwest part of the state.

No other updates were immediately provided on the status of the father.
