COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - One man is in custody and another still on the run after a 40-minute crime spree earlier in the month.

Police say they arrested Issac Phifer, 27, shortly after the Feb. 2 robberies. Vershaun Allen, 29, was identified Wednesday as the other suspect.

Phifer and Allen allegedly held up four convenience stores during the overnight hours of Feb. 2, beginning their spree at 4:13 a.m. at the Circle K on 1740 Jet Wing Drive and hitting three other convenience stores before 5 a.m.:

- 7-Eleven, 1760 Shasta Drive, at 4:24 a.m.
- Circle K, 1204 E. Pikes Peak Ave., 4:45 a.m.
- 7-Eleven, 1801 E. Platte Ave., 4:53 a.m.

Phifer was arrested after a patrol officer spotted a stolen vehicle near the last business robbed and allegedly saw him hiding inside.

Police say Allen should be considered armed and dangerous. If you have information on his whereabouts, call CSPD at 719-444-7000 or Crime Stoppers at 719-634-STOP. Crime Stoppers tips can be made anonymously.
