37-year-old Colorado man drowns after wind gust blows him overboard

Divers have recovered the body of a drowning victim in Colorado reservoir.

Investigators say 37-year-old Justin Yenter of Silt, Colorado was blown overboard by a strong gust of wind while boating at Harvey Gap Reservoir Thursday. Yenter's body was recovered early Friday morning 35 feet underwater and about 800 feet from shore, according to law enforcement.

Several agencies, including Garfield County Search and Rescue, Care Flight, Colorado River Fire Rescue, the Forest Service, Silt Police Department, Garfield County Coroner and the Summit County Dive Team were involved in recovery efforts.

The reservoir is located in Harvey Gap State Park northeast of the town of Rifle.
