EL PASO COUNTY, Colo. (KKTV) - Three men were arrested after allegedly assaulting a Walmart employee and helping themselves to 23 iPhones.

The crime was reported at the Walmart off 11550 Meridian Market View in Falcon just after 8:40 Monday night. The suspects were arrested hours later off Interquest and I-25 in Colorado Springs.

The iPhones were valued at a combined $23,000.

Detectives are now investigating whether the men are linked to a similar crime in Castle Rock late last month. In that case, two men and possibly a woman stole more than $13,000 in iPhones from the Walmart on Sam Walton Lane. The Castle Rock Police Department released surveillance of the crime Tuesday:

The suspects have been identified as 20-year-old Fassika Kelem, 18-year-old Edmon Wolday, and 29-year-old Daniel Teferi.
