Crews extinguish small house fire in southeast Colorado Springs

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - On Tuesday morning, firefighters were working to put out a small fire at a home in southeast Colorado Springs.

The fire was reported just before 9 a.m. near Hancock Expressway and Milton E. Proby Parkway.

Fire officials said that two people were treated for smoke inhalation at the scene, but were released shortly after that.

No firefighters were hurt and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.

It's not clear how many residents were displaced at this time.
