COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - Two men were shot multiple times during an argument early Tuesday morning.

Police say the two victims and the shooter got into some sort of dispute in front of a home on Colony Hills Road just before 4 a.m.

"During this altercation, one suspect pulls out a handgun and fires multiple shots at two victims," said Sgt. Robert Wilson with the Colorado Springs Police Department.

Roughly a dozen shell casings were recovered in front of the house.

Both men were taken to the hospital and are expected to recover. A third man was detained within an hour of police getting the call and is believed to be the suspect. Officers confirm they are not looking for anyone else.

The alleged shooter could potentially face attempted murder charges.

Wilson says everyone involved knew each other.
