2 D.C. officers hurt, suspect dead in overnight shooting
The Metropolitan Police Department confirms two officers and one man have been shot Thursday night in the 1300 block of Morse St., NE in Washington, D.C.
D.C. Police Chief Peter Newsham says both officers are in stable condition and expected to be OK.
According to police, the suspect was pronounced dead at the hospital.
The shooting happened just before 11 p.m. Thursday.
This incident comes a few hours after four men were shot in three separate shootings in Southeast, D.C. Thursday night.
These shootings are under investigation. Authorities have not said if they are connected.
