Police are looking for two men after they shot someone following a robbery outside McDonald's Wednesday night.

The shooting victim and a companion were sitting in a car in the parking lot when the two suspects walked up and began stealing items out of the vehicle. Police say the men were armed, and when the victims tried to flee the parking lot, one of the suspects shot at the car and hit one of the occupants in the shoulder.

The shooting victim was transported to a hospital, and police were then notified about the crime.

The suspects are described as a skinny, 6-foot-tall black male and a 5-foot-10 Hispanic male with a medium build. Both men were dressed in dark-colored clothing; the second suspect's clothes were described as loose-fitting. The first suspect was carrying a silver handgun and the second suspect, a black semi-automatic handgun.

Police say the first suspect is the one who shot the victim.

The victim's injuries were not life-threatening.

The McDonald's is located at 1244 N. Academy Blvd.
