Trading in the Great Lakes for the mountains! Megan is thrilled to be living and reporting in Colorado, a state she has visited many times and fell in love with.

Megan is a native Michigander (she’ll even show you where she’s from on her hand) and joins us from Lansing, Michigan, where she was a multi-media journalist for WILX News 10. In Lansing, Megan covered a wide variety of stories including the fallout from the Larry Nassar scandal, focusing on interviews with several of the survivors, whose stories continue to resonate with her. Before that, Megan was a sports reporter at 9&10 News in Cadillac, Michigan, and the Battle Creek Bombers baseball team’s first-ever on-field reporter.

An athlete at heart, Megan was a pitcher on Ferris State University’s (MI) softball team. She often would finish a doubleheader, pack up her equipment, and head to the library to write an article for the school newspaper.

When Megan isn’t reporting, she’s usually watching Friends, hiking, eating something sweet, or cheering on Detroit sports teams, despite their records.

You can also find her hanging out with her rescue cat, Gamora.
