Joey was more than excited to join the KKTV 11 News team in August 2018. He is the 11 News Pueblo Bureau Reporter.

Before calling the Steel City home, Joey worked for 11 News sister station KKCO/KJCT in Grand Junction, Colorado. Joey started his career in Northern Maine working for WAGM.

During his time on the Western Slope, Joey covered a multitude of stories. Everything from a high-profile murder case, issues that affected the everyday man and woman in Mesa County to breaking news in the community.

Joey graduated from the University of Colorado – Boulder with a bachelor of science in Broadcast News. He was an anchor/reporter for the campus news station, NewsTeam Boulder. He was also a producer/host for the campus radio station’s news show, News Underground. Joey is a hometown kid who grew up in the Springs and is excited to do the job he loves so close to home.
