Sydney grew up in the Kansas City area and became fascinated by weather at a young age. From ice storms to tornadoes, Sydney was intrigued by the constant weather changes and followed her passion that sparked in grade school.

While in Missouri, she covered severe weather including flooding, hail, tornadoes and snow. She was also a teaching assistant to a college meteorology course.

She joined KKTV 11 News in 2018 and has been recognized by the Colorado Broadcasters Association. She loves the significant weather changes we experience in Colorado! In her free time, Sydney enjoys volunteering for St. Jude, exploring the outdoors and traveling.
