Steve has worked in Television newsrooms all across the country. Most recently, he spent 2 years, working as an Anchor-Reporter for Spectrum News in Southern California. Steve got his start in TV at KSTF-TV in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. From there he moved on to stations in Fargo-North Dakota, Anchorage-Alaska, El Paso-Texas, San Antonio-Texas, and in Portland-Maine.
Steve received his Journalism Degree from California State University, Northridge. He then went on to get a Broadcast Meteorologist Degree from Mississippi State University. He also got a Master's Degree in Geosciences at Mississippi State.
Steve has covered everything from Hurricanes to Flash Floods, Blizzards and Tornadoes. He's covered major weather events, like Hurricane Katrina in Louisiana, and Super Storm Sandy in New England. He's excited about forecasting weather here in Southern Colorado.
