Dianne Derby

Dianne is the evening co-anchor with Don Ward for KKTV 11 News. She joined the KKTV 11 News team in 2012. During her time in Colorado she has covered some of the most important stories in the state including the Waldo Canyon and Black Forest fires, the Planned Parenthood shooting, and the deadly shooting of El Paso County Deputy Micah Flick.

Dianne is an Emmy Award-winning journalist and also has received awards from the Colorado Broadcasters Association and the Associated Press. She has been The Gazette voter's choice for Best TV Anchor for the last two years.

Dianne is originally from Fort Lauderdale, Florida and earned two Master's degrees from her home state; one from The Florida State University in Higher Education and one from the University of Miami in Communications. She earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Florida.

Dianne is married and enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, and three rescue dogs.
