Danielle Kreutter has been part of the KKTV 11 News team since September 2013.
Danielle is a Colorado native who came to Colorado Springs after working as a reporter for two years at KREX-TV in Grand Junction and spending time reporting for KACT-TV in Aurora.
Over the years in Southern Colorado she's worked on investigations that have held business owners accountable to the American's with Disabilities Act, given a voice to victims and families during difficult criminal proceedings, and has kept residents up to date when dangerous severe weather or wildfires have threatened homes.
While in Western Colorado she had the privilege of working on many compelling stories, including around-the-clock coverage of the Aurora movie theater shooting, reporting on multiple visits from President Barack Obama, Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan during the 2012 election season.
Danielle graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from the University of Colorado where she was an anchor and reporter for NewsTeam Boulder, Boulder’s only televised newscast.
She was honored to receive the Colorado Broadcasters Association Award of Excellence for Best Reporter for a Non-Metro Market in 2016 and be part of team coverage of a severe spring blizzard that received the Edward R. Murrow Award for Best Newscast in Small Market Television in 2020.
She loves animals, spending time with her family and eating great Italian food.
