Firefighters with Colorado Springs Fire and Colorado Springs Police responded to the car fire on the intersection of Stetson Hills Boulevard and Powers Boulevard. The car has very extensive damage.

This is happening now in the Rye area southwest of Pueblo. Heavy smoke and even flames could be seen from the wooded area off of Highway 165. The fire burned at least 127 acres including an outbuilding in the area. It was the only building that was impacted.

The new temporary entrance is south of Gateway Road and west of 30th Street. This is a temporary closure while construction continues to make things more accessible for people who live in the area and visitors.

As of today, 41% of the eligible people in our state have received the booster shot. The COVID-19 and booster shots are the best lines of protection against the Omicron variant.

Multiple viewers have called 11 News to notify us about the fire on 6741 Dublin Loop, saying they can black smoke from their homes.

The trailer was stolen on Nov. 22 from right outside Lavely’s home near Main Street and Fillmore. The brazen thieves stole it in broad daylight.

This morning, the group provided 150 meals to families. The meals include turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, greens, cornbread muffins and more.
