Four men held a victim at gunpoint for pistol-whipping and then robbing them in a parking lot Monday.

Colorado State Patrol says if you are pulled over for drinking, you will be arrested, have to do a chemical test, will have your vehicle impounded and have to pay up to about $13,000 in fines and fees.

Residents at an apartment building on La Salle Street just east of Union began calling 911 just before 9:30 p.m. as the suspect went from unit to unit, kicking down each door.

The situation started as a disturbance call, and police tell 11 News the suspect then barricaded himself inside a home. He was found dead by his own hand several hours later.

One of the inmates was found Sunday night and the second Monday morning.

According to State Patrol, the driver was attempting to navigate a “sweeping” curve while heading north on Highway 69 but took it too wide.

Colorado Springs Police tell 11 News they found a person with a gunshot wound in the Palmer Park area. The person has pretty severe injuries. Police tells us no one is in custody and there is no suspect information to provide at this time.
