Police help man seen running on I-25 in Colorado Springs
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - Police got a man safely down from a ledge during rush hour traffic Tuesday morning.
When officers got to I-25 and Rockrimmon, the man was darting through interstate traffic. Police were able to get the ongoing cars to slow down enough to get the man off the road, but he then ran to the bridge and sat on the ledge.
Officers spent time talking to the man and de-escalating the situation and got him to safe ground.
Police tell 11 News the man was “distressed.”
