Suspect taken into custody after 4 people shot in 2 related shootings in southeast Colorado Springs Saturday

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - Police have made an arrested after four people were shot in two related shootings in southeast Colorado Springs Saturday.

Colorado Springs police received a call about a shooting around 6 p.m. Saturday on the 2500 block of Astrozon Circle Saturday. Just minutes later and a few streets away, several calls for service were received in the 2400 block of Barkman Drive of another shooting.

According to CSPD, these two shootings are connected. On Sunday morning, CSPD said four people were shot: three with non-life threatening injuries, and one in critical condition. As of Monday morning, all four now have non-life threatening injuries.

Police told 11 News Monday morning that the suspect was taken into custody, although the suspect’s name has not yet been released. 11 News is working to learn if these shootings were targeted or random.
