PUEBLO, Colo. (KKTV) - Two men are suspected of two separate drive-by shootings, one on New Year’s Eve and the second one just hours later.

The first shooting happened at about 11:11 p.m. on Thursday in the 200 block of E. Routt Avenue. Police believe 18-year-old Jacob Gumm was the one who pulled the trigger as Gumm is facing five counts of attempted first-degree murder, among other charges. Gumm was arrested on Friday.

The second drive-by shooting happened on Friday at about 1:13 in the morning in the 2000 block of Routt Avenue. Robert Lagunas, 24, was arrested following the second shooting. Lagunas is suspected of one count of attempted first-degree murder.

Police believe the second shooting was in retaliation of the first shooting and the criminal activity is gang-related.
