PUEBLO, Colo. (KKTV) - Pueblo Police believe they caught the person behind the murder of 39-year-old Michael Hunt.

On Friday, police posted an update to the case on Twitter saying they served an arrest warrant for first-degree murder to Michael Anthony Stratton. Stratton was already in the Jefferson County Jail on charges for several other cases. In Jefferson County, Stratton is suspected of felony menacing, criminal mischief, burglary, assault and a slew of other charges.

Police did not immediately announce publicly what led them to believe Stratton was behind the murder of Hunt.

Hunt’s body was found in the alley of 200 S. Union Ave. on Aug. 30.
