ENGLEWOOD, Colo. - Broncos quarterback Drew Lock has returned to practice for the first time since he injured his throwing shoulder at Pittsburgh in Week 2.

Lock’s work was limited as Brett Rypien took the first-team snaps. Rypien is coming off his first career start, during which he led Denver to a victory over the New York Jets.

The Broncos are scheduled to visit the New England Patriots this weekend but there’s some uncertainty surrounding the game after a third Patriots player tested positive for the coronavirus.
