Police investigate shooting near local apartment complex

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - A person is recovering from injuries after an apparent shooting in the parking lot of a local apartment complex.
Officers received a call at about 4 a.m. Wednesday after the victim arrived at a hospital.
During their investigation, police said they learned the person was shot in the parking lot of the Western Terrace Apartments, near Chelton Road and East Fountain Boulevard.
Police do not have any suspects at this time.
The victim’s injuries were not life-threatening.
