In North Colorado Springs, Dr. Tom Bartlett with Mountain View Medical Group reports a big increase in viral upper repiratory infections.

The symptoms include a low-grade fever, cough, nasal congestion and sore throat. Dr. Bartlett says symptoms can last 2-5 days.

So, here's what you can do to feel better: drink plenty of fluids, get lots of rest and take Tylenol and cough medicine to relieve discomfort. Remember, since what's going around is viral, antibiotics won't work.
