The official start of winter is still a few weeks away, but winter conditions have settled into Colorado.
Even with the frosty temperatures outside, it's not too late to prepare your home for the upcoming season.
-Check your door and entryways of your home to ensure they are properly sealed, or if there is air going in and out.
-Check your insulation: many houses need it in the attic. You may need to add an extra layer.
-Get your furnace checked: when they start to fail in the wintertime, it will take longer to get them fixed because maintenance companies will be booked.
-The biggest concerns at home during the winter is losing power, heat and phone service. Make sure you have emergency supplies just in case.
