Snow and rain will continue to taper from north. Main roads should stay just wet overnight and through early Thursday. Secondary roads and any bridges and overpasses away from city warmth will be icy, so be careful. Locally dense fog will be an issue for the early morning too. There are widespread power outages in Teller County, the Sheriff's Office confirms.
The areas confirmed to be affected are Woodland Park, Divide and Florissant. Woodland Park police tell 11 News the outages are "fluctuating" citywide.
The cause of the outages have not been confirmed, but it's speculated that they are caused by the heavy snow falling in the area.
Woodland Park Re-2 Schools are closed Thursday due to the outages and weather conditions.
