Due to wind shear and microburst activity, two planes headed to land in Denver were diverted to Colorado Springs.
The planes, an American Airlines flight and Continental flight, will both refuel and continue to Denver.
DIA is operating at a reduced capacity because they're only using the north and south tarmacs. Colorado Springs airport officials do not expect additional flights to be diverted.
