Gusty wind, low relative humidities, warm temperatures, and dry fuels will all combine to produce high fire danger this afternoon and early evening. Red Flag Warning goes into effect at Noon and lasts until 8pm. Please, no outdoor burning or use of flammable materials. Head to the "Weather" Tab for more information on the forecast.
Snow has ended for the Pikes Peak Region and I-25 Corridor. Roads once whitened by snow earlier this morning will recover quite nicely today. Meanwhile, minor additional accumulations will be possible on the Eastern Plains through early afternoon.
The rest of the day will be marked by blustery and cool conditions with increasing sunshine. While temps will max out in the 40s and low 50s this afternoon, the wind will make it feel cooler.
