While a spring storm has impacted most of the state, the southern portion has been hit the hardest.
Well over a foot of snow has fallen in Trinidad since Monday night, with drifts as high as three feet. 11 News Storm Chaser Dustin Cox says many limbs and branches have snapped off of trees due to the heavy, wet snow. Southbound lanes of I-25 remain closed over Raton Pass, leaving many truckers stranded.
More than two feet of snow has been reported near Cuchara and the Spanish Peaks.
