The biggest concern for this evening will be frigid temperatures. Temperatures will fall through the teens and single digits tonight and with breezy conditions... wind chills will be in the single digits to below zero. Weekend temperatures will be over 20 degrees below average and additional snow is possible both Saturday and Sunday...head over to the "Weather" tab for more information.
Areas of low clouds, fog, and drizzle will persist through mid-late morning. Be sure to allow yourself some extra time this morning, as the fog could be dense in spots.
The combination of ample moisture and an approaching disturbance will likely lead to scattered thunderstorms by mid-late afternoon. A few of these storms could be strong/severe with frequent lightning, quarter-size hail, and locally heavy rainfall the main threats.
Rest assured, we'll be the first to alert you should any watches or warnings be issued.
