Rain & snow showers are expected to continue, mainly along the I-25 corridor, throughout the evening and overnight hours. Accumulations are expected, though minor areas such as Colorado Springs and Pueblo. Moisture looks to move out of the area by the morning commute, though roads may be slick/wet. Areas of low clouds, fog, and drizzle will persist through mid-late morning. Be sure to allow yourself some extra time this morning, as the fog could be dense in spots.
The combination of ample moisture and an approaching disturbance will likely lead to scattered thunderstorms by mid-late afternoon. A few of these storms could be strong/severe with frequent lightning, quarter-size hail, and locally heavy rainfall the main threats.
