DENVER (AP) -- Interstate 25 is back open between northern Colorado and Cheyenne but the road is still snowy and slick.
Snow shut down the highway for about seven hours north of Wellington on Monday.
Snow is expected to continue off and on through Wednesday.
The National Weather Service says the storm could bring 15 to 25 inches of new snow to the northern Colorado mountains by Wednesday night. Less snow is predicted for the central mountains.
