Cold conditions will continue through the end of the weekend. Highs will remain well below freezing for most, in the 20s. Snow showers will begin to the west by the mid afternoon with better chances for areas of snow along the I-25 corridor by evening. DENVER (AP) -- Interstate 25 is back open between northern Colorado and Cheyenne but the road is still snowy and slick.
Snow shut down the highway for about seven hours north of Wellington on Monday.
Snow is expected to continue off and on through Wednesday.
The National Weather Service says the storm could bring 15 to 25 inches of new snow to the northern Colorado mountains by Wednesday night. Less snow is predicted for the central mountains.
