Highway 24 is closed between Limon and Colorado Springs due to rapidly deteriorating conditions on the eastern plains.
CDOT says the following roads are also closed:
-I-70 is also at the Eisenhower Tunnel
-I-70 between Airpark and Burlington
-US 40 between Limon and Kit Carson
-NB SH 71 Limon and Brush
-Westbound I-70 at the Eisenhower Tunnel- traffic being detoured to US 6 over Loveland Pass
Even on roads that remain open, travel is not advised at this time in most parts of the Front Range.
